These new three-dimensional, curved-edge films are made from a technologically advanced, multi-layer material:

- an outer layer with anti-microbial and anti-fingerprint treatment

- a central anti-shock layer in PMMA, a type of engineering plastic from which they take their name

- a third layer of adhesive silicone

Plus the two outer layers of protective film that must be removed during application
